I'm as clueless as you are, my friend. I actually have the problem that I'm just too afraid to ask anyone out or talk to anyone because I don't want to be "that one creepy guy who hit on me" to any girl.
I got the one I'm with now because I've known her forever and we were good friends. We always liked each other, and we've actually dated before, so that made the task immensely easier. So, honestly, I couldn't tell you. But I can say the excessive questioning and the overuse of lol aren't good.

Well, it is called fashioncore really, but emo has become (wrongly) the most used term for it, looks something like this (totally gay on guys and most people thinks it is totally gay on girls too but I like it. ^_^):
