W00t! Residence $129 14th-16th!! Thanks John!
Some FYI on hotels in case anyone is curious...
Hampton Inn is VERY nice and the service is GREAT! It's the longest walk of the regularly booked hotels but it's not unbearable. I stayed there last year and it was a great experience, but it's a bit of a hike if you're stumbling home at 5am through Midtown ATL with sore feet from standing for 12+ hours. They have a big outdoor pool and a stellar breakfast buffet with lots of options including many hot dishes! There are very few elevators and very often we shared it with the maid service (though I heard a rumor that the service elevator was broken that weekend). The price is kinda steep and you'll be sharing the place with a lot of business travelers and families, so partying late might not be a good idea. Overall, I enjoyed the Hampton a lot, but I like being able to jog back to the room real quick without running a marathon.
Granada is usually party central because it's a block away from Earthlink Live, so if you don't want to stay up all night it might be better to stay elsewhere. I haven't stayed here but the rooms seem very nice and modern, though the building is rather old. You have less chance of upsetting other patrons because the majority of the place is booked up with PP attendees.
I haven't stayed at the Residence Inn, but I did spend a bit of time there last year. The building is big, clean, and well lit with very nice modern rooms. It seems like it should cost a fortune but I hear it's rather reasonable considering you are booking suites. The rooms had so much in them, including living room areas and a kitchenette. The walk is fairly short; not as far as Hampton but not as close as Granada. I really look forward to staying here this year!
Just some opinions.. hope it helps
