Belhaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't really expect anything except a very sexy taste sensation :)

It's not a bad ale, Belhaven is quite heavy (as it says on it!) but its also reasonably smooth. Not a huge fan of heavies myself, but as far as they go Belhaven is one of the best brands to get.

Anyways...let me know how you like it!

yeh ive had some belhaven before, it was good. wasnt that one though, it came in a tan tallcan.

Thats actually the first i've seen belhaven in a bottle, i normally drink from cans also.

Well she's gone now. I sort of instinctively took a huge chug for a first drink, and in hindsight, I think it was a mistake. I wasn't fully mentally aware that I was about to taste something new (and potentially very good) as I hoisted the bottle to my lips. I took a good 3 chugs and about halfway through, the unfamiliar taste struck my buds. My first reaction was bitterness, which quickly subsided once I discovered the very delicious, yet subtle apple flavored taste. I smiled and then noticed how comfortable the thickness of the brew felt in my stomach.

A very nice tasting and special beer. I imagine it could be a very tasty desert beer after a nice meal.

6.5% alcohol is aces in my book, and my only complaint about Belhaven Wee Heavy isn't much of one at all. There was a slightly bubbly texture in the beer as it sat in my mouth waiting to be swallowed. It wasn't enough to annoy me, but I definitely noticed it.

Alcohol content - B+
Desirabitlity - A (I'll probably buy another)
