Audix drum package. My fear is that they will sound like shit but all well. I also picked up a e609. Cables, tom mic clamps, 5 cables, bass drum stand. Also got the firepod comming.

I know, they probably will suck. But it's a start and it's all i can afford as of right now.
I didn't want to go uber cheapo though. And there are definitly cheaper sets.

I bought these tom clips because they seemed to be better construction than what I was seeing out of MF.

And 5 more xlr cables 50 foot each witch is probably stupid now that I think of it. I should have gone with 20s. FUCK!

can it be expanded for more ins/outs? i mean, there's a way to connect another firepod or use 2 firepods thru the fireware connection in the daw?

The only sample rate lost is 96khz. You still can record at 48khz/24-bit. 44.1/24-bit, 16-channels at under $1K is a a great deal to me.

It's all people that don't know what they are doing. The majority of people give it good ratings. I'll admit, mine has issues, but it's a windows thing, has nothign to do with Presonus.

Chad no your right 96 gets cut in half. I don't remember if it effect the bit rate though. I also heard you lose spdif if you chain more than one together.
