FINALLY!!!! I bought a Firepod!

I've had my Firepod for well over two years now and it has been fantastic. Just one small problem the firewire 1 port does not work any more, dunno why, I just use port 2 which is fine. I'm looking to get another Firepod and link the two. Does it matter which port you use when linking 2 firepods? And how do the inputs appear in Cubase when using 2? Can they be listed as 16 monos?

Well I think I'm gonna just forget about that, I'll probably check out the ProPak CD (It says there are Voxengo Plug Ins on it) though.

I am sure they can. You might not be able to direct monitor all 16 chanells though (although I don't know).

Plus, if one of the firewire jacks isn't working, how are you going to daisy chain? I believe they have to be daisy chained to add a second? And, you'll need to download a driver or something from Presonus's site.

He would use the new one as the main unit(old firepod into it, and out to the PC)

You can still daisy chain them, just have the one that hooks directly to the comp going in port 1 on the new one that would have both jacks working and then run it out of the 2nd jack into the 2nd firepods 2nd firewire port.

Even though I saw the program in a shop and it was like € 40,- or something so I might have been able to sell. Ah, nevermind...
