Hey guys, probably a stupid question, but is it firewind SUPPORTING stratovarius or the other way round, or is a dual-headliner?

can someone clear it up for me:)

Will do, cheers!
The reason why i asked was because i recently went to see TYR with Alestorm, it was written like that on all posters/tickets but at the gig TYR played before them, which is good 'cos i wasnt a big fan of TYR, haha.
But i lovr Strato and Firewind so its all good.

Haha yeah the advertisers for the Alestorm/Tyr tour were very confused. I think Leeds was the only venue that actually realised Alestorm were the headliners. I love them both though :D

Aye, not heard much Strato but like what I hear, love Firewind though (obviously)! Rather excited now!!!

Stratovarius actually have some very deep meaning for me in that they were one of the first bands I listened to that got me into the music I love today, along with Lost Horizon. That was in 2003.

Then I found and heard Firewind by fluke in 2004. My boyfriends friend (who lived next door) used to come round and hang out ALL the time and he was always buying random CD's that had cool covers!!! So he'd bought 'Between Heaven & Hell' and hated it! So he gave it to my boyfriend who put it on...he also wasn't keen, but I thought it was beastin'!!! Then I went on a quest to see them live!

I seen them in March 2006 at ProgPowerUK. They were the main factor in my deciding to go to PPUK. Well...them and Freedom Call of course!!!

And I don't think my quest ever stopped...when I found out they were supporting Dragonforce I just had to get to a couple of the gigs...even though Dragonforce were...well...lets just say - not my *favourite* band!!! :p

Then in April 2007, UK tour (3 dates)! And Bloodstock of course! I also went to Senderos Del Rock in Zaragoza, Spain. This time almost purely for Firewind. Followed by ProgPower Scandinavia the very next weekend in Copenhagen, Denmark.

2008 was kicked off by the show in Thessaloniki in January for the DVD then I went on a crazed trip around Europe and managed to get to 11 of the dates on the 'Rule The World' tour (where I broke my arm in Antwerp, Belgium). You know...I am still being hounded to this very day to pay my medical bills!!!

I promised to resign myself from touring...obviously I was allowed a festival though...so then there was Graspop!!! But then there was another UK tour...it was fate!!! So I ended up going to 6 of those dates...DOH!

In 2009 Hellfire Festival came!!! Hooray!!! ORANGE!!! What is worse than the truth!? LIES!!!

Anyway here I am again...once more. Another UK tour (damn you!!!) and another 5 dates for me to add to my already stalker-ishly high Firewind-count.

Which (if there are no hitches) will take my total up to...34.

xx Kirsty

Hahahaha I think we need to send Firewind and orange too :p

Also fuck off with your bad karma!!! hahahaahaha
(guess who crashed their car yesterday.... So yeah, my dad's on a mission to find me another one TODAY!)
Well...we have a car!!! ^_^ Haha.

So now the bad karma has been equalled.

So if we can just not do anything stupid we should be fine... O_O Easier said than done for me I'm thinking!!!

xx Kirsty

Aye, my Dad's a star, although I have to give him back the car very soon, then I shall be questing to work on foot for a while, oh joy. Still tour was awesome due to car!!!

Also, seriously, bad fucking karma!!!!! I crashed my car two days before the tour, firewind's van got a flat tyre, Kirsty's bus got a flat tyre. Much fun was had despite all that crap!

Yep, bus got into Manchester late on Tuesday due to flat tyre (same as Firewind!!!).

Also there was the incident with the HUUUGE guy jumping on my foot during "Maniac" in Glasgow. Resulting in a particularly stupid looking limp for a few days.

OOOOH and I kept banging into stuff!!! Remember in London Katie!?!?!? "FOR FUCKING FUCKS CUNT SAKE!!!"

And the woman with the squeaky nose in London. I cried with laughter telling Alan about her yesterday.

But the good TOTALLY outweighs the bad. I LOVE touring. Apart from the lack of sleep. I've started saving for Firewind 2010.
