Sounds like Impelliterri. And not sure how u could get so excited over a 50 second clip. Did I miss something here?
The clip sounds good, and I'm sure this will be a good album. But how many times can we keep getting excited over another song about the world being set on fire?
As for me? As long as the songs kick ass....they can come until they are flowing out of my ass.

You know what, you're right! It does sound like something Impelliterri would do. I'm by no means an Impelliterri fan though.
The clip sounds okay, but I'd like to hear more before I could go bonkers over it.

Call me the minority, but I guess I just don't get what the fuss is with this band. Nothing special with this clip or any of their material in my opinion.

If the new album approaches the brilliance of Allegiance, I'll be a happy camper. Man, a lot of cool shit is coming out between now and the end of the year...

Gus G. is an incredible guitar player and Firewind has some really really good songs. That being said they're far from being in the power metal major league.
This clip is pretty cool, but it's impossible to get an opinion based on less than a minute of music. Hey Madman, have you heard the whole thing yet? Not that you're not biased (lol), but I am curious as to what this sounds like.

Firewind is one of those bands that consistently puts out good material, not great, but good. And in a genre where everyone is trying to create an epic, and only a few succeeding at it. It is good to have a band that just puts out good solid releases.

What?? WHAT??? Man that's some serious fighting talk you are spouting as fact my friend. Firewind is in the top 5 power metal bands in the world today. I pity you if you cannot see that. Firewind doesn't have a duff cd in sight. Starting off pretty heavy on the first two and then becoming more melodic as the albums went on. I would love to know what bands you consider major league and rank higher than Firewind. That league of yours needs some serious overhaul mister!

Do you really think of Firewind when you think of the bigger names in Power Metal worldwide? I for some reason don't see them at the same level as Kamelot, Blind Guardian, etc.

I don't know about him, but I can surely tell you that I do. IMO they are right up there with all of them.
They are totally in the "major leagues" as far as I'm concerned. This will be their 7th release, and I think Gus and Company have easily solidified their presence with the best of them.
