Edit: Actually it might have been The Beach Boys - Surfin' USA. I'm not really sure anymore.

Damn I believe it was some backstreet boys cassette when I was 8. Lucky for me a good friend of my brothers was a big Metallica fan and he was bringing some videos of their concerts to our house. I liked the guy so I started to be curious about metal.

Oddly enough, this was the first album I owned as well. I got it for like my eighth birthday.

The first album I ever bought myself was The Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magic.

Also, I haven't listened to them in a good nine years but Smash Mouth were fun, so fuck you.

That Jimmy Eat World album with Sweetness and Middle, I wasn't really into music and after buying that I realized a lot of albums only had like two or three good songs so I didn't buy another album for a while. I bought that one in like 5th grade or something and I don't think I bought another CD until I bought Ride the Lightning in 9th grade or something.

I want to say that Smash was my first as well, around 5 years old or so. I don't remember this, but my parents have told me stories about myself at four years old going nuts whenever they would put on "Come Out and Play". That song still rules.
