Probably NIN. Or Moby. There isn't actually much crime at all. Especially in 2000 there were on 36 reported crimes (except drugs of course, but no1 cared)

only 36  , what part of the world do you live that , that is little, and im surprised people bothered hasseling over drugs, whats the point.

my first concert sucked... it was a festival with Deftones, Korn, PapaRoach, MurderCityDevils, Everlast, MXPX, and some other shitty bands i dont remember.... although i do admit The Deftones put on a good show.... BUT my First metal Concert was NILE! God Forbid and Cradle Of Phallus(filth)

yay, (about the god forbid bit) do you like them? i think they are good live. and i do like a bit of Deftones, although i havent heard them in a long time.

Well, i remember seeing a local band called Withdrawn and they were heavy as hell. I was blown away, i had just got into heavy music and had never seen anything like that live. But as far as a huge concert, i think it may have been a lollapalooza (however you spell that) with The Melvins, Metallica, Soundgarden etc....

Funny story -- I wore this horrendous sequined VEST to the NKOTB concert. We were late (Dino was opening! Remember him?) and it was dark inside when we were going to our seats. So I'm running down those arena stairs in the dark trying to keep up with my friend. And my feet got all jumbled up, and I fell. As if that wasn't bad enough, everyone thought it would be funny to throw gum at the loser girl in the sequined vest! So I had wads of gum in my hair and on my back.

thats terrible. what a bunch of cocksuckers. who would think that they are such bad ass's (at a fuckin new kids on the block concert) to throw gum at someone who fell. makes me mad!

i saw god forbid 2 fridays ago, they were great.

and i agree with serenity that the deftones are quite good live.
it kinda saddens me that people think the deftones are a crappy nu-metal band and should never be regarded as decent musicians. oh well.

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forgive me, this is off topic, but I didn't wanna start a new thread for it.

Lacuna Coil is gonna be playing a show near me in December!!!!! Their first time to the U.S. I got my hopes up about a year ago when this dumbass club put them on the calendar even though it hadn't been finalized. But this time it's really true!!!! And Brave is opening for them, which is awesome. (But so are Rain Fell Within and Moonspell, which kinda suck in my opinion.) Yippee! I would never say Lacuna Coil are technical or anything, but they just do it for me somehow. Probably my second favorite band. Woohoo! :hotjump:

Whew, got that out of my system.

Hehehe :)

My first concert was the farewell Kiss show just this year. It was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was just awesome. Best night of my life so far (fingers crossed that's about to change though ;) ).

around 95 i believe, i saw weezer with teenage fanclub and that dog. i went with my mom- i wasnt allowed to go to 'real' concerts without my parents until i was 18
heeh my mom loves weezer, so i had conned her into going to that. ....what really sucks is that danzig, manson and korn played a show that year as well, and i would have killed to go-but they wont allow 14 year olds into 18 and over venues. what the fuck? what are they thinking? shortly thereafter danzig broke up. i was very upset, and to this day i boycott that venue!

im posting a lot about danzig these days. where is the danzig forum!? haha LOL

yeah everything gets classed as nu-metal now, and a lot of it annoys me since 5 or so years ago some of it would just be classed as rock full stop, a lot of nu-metal sounds completely different, but i dont really like the bands anyway.

oh, im really jealous, this is a band ive wanted to see since i started liking metal, and them going to the US gives me a little hope that they may come to England soon for the first time too (well theyve come here, but for a festival, not their own headline show) have fun.
