First time using Pod Farm instead of real amps

Hey guys!

I've always tried to make it a point to not use amp sims when I work on someone's projects.

I like mic'ing real amps...makes me feel like I know what I'm doing

This time I gave it a shot doing a mix with nothing but Pod Farm (Joey Sturgis style i guess) Let me know what you think..it still needs to be mastered

..also don't be too critical of the vocalist, he has a disability and I did my best to make him sound as clean as possible.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you could use some more gain to emphasize pick attack.

I cranked the gain on the guitars and added a bit more low end to the kick

Thx man! I appreciate it, this sounds better with the extra gain, I would still add a bit more when recording the guitars ideally, but still sounds good.
