First try with impulses.

This is my first post on these boards.

So I just started to use impulses and I recorded Gods of War Arise by Amon Amarth. This is my best work yet but I am looking for any advice to make it sounds better. I need some fresh ears.

Equipment I used:

Line 6 Toneport UX2.
Superior Drummer 2.0
ENGL V30 Impulse on the guitars.

The drums arent the best I know, as I am inexperienced with making drums sound good. Not sure on what to compress and whatnot.

I double tracked each rhythm guitar as follows.
Left 100% Left 80 % - Right 80% Right 100%

Now about the track.. I cant seem to download it now, i get a error.

Try the other link I posted in my opening post. for some reason Soundclick won't play the cover songs I have on there. Weird.. cause it was working like 10 minutes ago.

I guess I'm not really happy with the kick sound. But I'm not sure what to do to make it pop a bit more. The toms also sound to bright for my liking, maybe its just me.
