FOOTBALL 2009!

What's everybody's take on NFL Week 1? My Cowboys played well against TB. 3 WRs are always better than 1. So far, Team Oblierator is not missed at all! My Titans couldn't quite pull it off versus da Stillers, but it was still a close, competitive game.

As for our local team down here, the Falcons played well enough to beat Miami and looked decent doing so. I have extremely high expectations of Matt Ryan, though, and don't EVEN get me started on Jason Elam!

My Cowboys gave the Giants an early Christmas present yesterday to the tune of 24 points off of 4 Dallas turnovers. WHERE'S YOUR HEAD AT, Tony Romo?!

Same place it's always been. Up his own ass along with everyone else at ESPN.

Guy had a decent first season when he got the starting job but has always been a major liability throwing passes that no QB should be throwing. He was just lucky that he got away with so many of them the first two years.

Good point. Romo's become more of a liability than an asset, just like Wade Phillips.:mad:

If the Falcons lose to the Pats, we'll survive. If the Pats lose, I think they're going to be in trouble. Watching them play this past weekend, I think the Falcons can handle them, but they're dangerous. Depends on which teams show up. We sure won't have the element of surprise.

As for the Cowboys... *shrug* They have some real stability issues. I can't say I'm sorry, as they are the evil empire.

Alabama should have no trouble beating Arkansas, as long as they play like they did against NT. But I think this is the beginning of a string of 9 conference games, so they are all important, ranked or not. Unfortunately, we don't play either Georgia or Florida this year (unless we meet the latter again in the SEC championship game).
