FOOTBALL 2009!

Captain Mediocre finally won another game for us! Tony Romolomodingdong helped the Cowboys to a 3-2 record by squeaking out a close one in OT over the hapless Chiefs.

We look great this year, but today just didn't seem fair...seemed like we were playing a high school team or something

Yeah, the real test will be this week. It's just good to see them take care of a team that they should have no problems with. ESPN had already jumped to talking about the Saints matchup at the beginning of last week and that's one of the worst things a team can do.

Tonight's ATL Vs. CHI matchup should be awesome! It will be if it was anything like last year's contest! Falcons by 3. I dearly love both teams, though.

FALCONS WIN! (I hate that my Bearsssssss had to lose in the process, though.) Still, a very closely-contested game! The Falcons are in line for a WC berth as we speak!

That pigeon was awesome, although I thought it a little unnecessary when it sacked McNabb.

 He really should have gotten called for the offsides there, though.
I got the abysmal Bills/Jets game instead so didn't find out about this until earlier today. The crowning achievement would have been if it actually ran into a Philly player.

The pigeon RULES... I laughed my ass off when we were watchin' this game... Great stuff...

All I can say about my local football "team" - the Skins - they're a train wreck fronted by a stupidly rich retarded moron that cannot admit he still doesn't know what he's doing...

Take down the Jerry Jones altar in your office Snyder.. it's not working..

Now if they can get rid of Campbell and get some other actual talent on the team... :P Sorry, maybe it's my anti-Auburn bias, but I've never thought JC was a particularly good quarterback. Then again, I'd rather have someone with good decision-making abilities and a decent arm than a guy with an awesome arm who doesn't know when to chuck it, when to run, how to fool a defense... etc., etc., so forth, and so on.

But I've been wrong before.

I LOVE Auburn and really enjoyed Campbell's time with the Tigers, but I really wish he was on an NFL team I liked.

Redskins have a backup QB that I think could be a true star, Colt Brennan. Just needs a chance. But he was put on IR so he can't play this season.

I used to love watching Hawaii play football when Colt was at the helm! He could always coach on June Jones' staff at SMU!

My favorite Hawaii game was the 41-10 beatdown Georgia handed them in the Sugar Bowl :heh: Said Colt Brennan: "It was the fastest team I've probably ever seen. We just couldn't get into our groove and do what we wanted to do." After being sacked eight times, intercepted three times, and losing two fumbles, I think his comments were slightly understated

(...and less than two years later, Georgia can't even beat Tennessee )

I will be interested to see how Colt does in the NFL, when he's protected by an NFL offensive line, instead of dudes from the WAC. Maybe when Snyder fires Zorn, he can bring back Spurrier and the "Fun 'n' Gun" :)

Just got notified that I won airfare/hotel/game tickets to see Giants @ Denver on Thanksgiving. I've never attended an NFL game. I've only been to a bunch of college games at Penn State during the 90s. This should be quite fun despite routing for the away team and the fact that is will be cold as hell. Hopefully Giants will have their shit together again.
