have you ever suffered from a tendon injury on your right wrist that didn't heal in 5 months?
i'm asking you this cos maybe you can give me some tips,since the doctors i've been at didn't seem to care.i mean,they say it's not a serious thing,but at the same time they told me i don't have to play the guitar and the drums until i'm totally ok,at all.they think i got this problem cos i've spent too much time in playing and using pc...

well, if it's so important to you you should go to a better doctor and follow exactly their advice, ie don't use it at all and take all the medicine they prescribe regularly, i'm afraid there's not much else you can do, and the more it keeps being this way the bigger the damage you risk.

Its wierd, I only sffered a guitar injury from over stretching, the movement actually losens my hand up. Im no doctor so I dont know shit on the subject but Id say dont stop playing because RSI isnt really common on instruments and it could be considered a form of physio.

You probably know what happened to Demonaz from Immortal when he got tendonitis. Be careful, and don't take any chances you feel unsure about. Tendon injuries require a long recovery time, just be patient. If it still doesn't get better, consult a different doctor, as this one doesn't seem to worried about it.

yeah tendon injuries can be really ugly... dont do things that requires strenght or hard work you know...
try restin your wrist for a while....try asking another doctors
there is not much you can do just wait and do not despair

The exact same thing happened to me. On both hands but more prononunced on my left hand. On both hands, after playing on the pc for a while the finger tips started to go numb, like when you sit on your hand, and to hurt. When playing guitar it was a bitch.

Everyone but my gf ignored me when i told them, including my aunt ( she's a doctor, but think Becker kind of doctor, a real bitch ) and well it never went away.

It did went away but thats when i stopped playing guitar all togheter because of my self-imposed exhile from my band. I guess Guitar+pc gaming is the magical combo into hand injury, tunnel and tendon injuries.

i was kinda going into despair cos 5 months (since when i started to treat myself,cos the pain came out first) seemed to me too much...

@Ishkur: this "while" is getting very very long!

I barely play anymore, only a little bit because im giving lessons to someone, but yes im perfectly able if only a little rusty In fact i was never unable to play, it hurt quite a bit and it was annoying but i has having enormous bandmate problems and i couldnt afford to stop playing, so i just bite he bullet and kept playing anyway.
