What were their playlists? After the new album 'Ghost Reveries' is out, how many songs do they play from it, and how many from older albums?

I'd like to know, so it would be possible to guess how's their show is going to look like. :)

When I saw them, they played 2 songs from Ghost Reveries (Ghost Of Perdition and The Grand Conjuration). The Baying Of The Hounds was also scheduled to be on the setlist, but the venue curfew was enforced, and that was the song they chose to cut. They played 10 songs, I think. The only album from which nothing was played was Morningrise.

What other songs were there? From Damnation, Deliverance and Blackwater Park?

I went to the one here in dallas and it was something like this:

Baying of the hounds
The grand conjuration
the moor
bleak
blackwater park
deliverance
the drapery falls
demon of the fall

i know i am leaving something out, but i was becoming drunk.....:kickass:

Two points for your question:

1. No one knows what they're going to play on this tour. They've already mentioned that they're going to play some old obscure songs during those three 'evenings' shows. I would bet that they will play at least one of those during the regular shows.

2. Unless you're going to the first show on the tour, just come here on february 13th and look for someone to post the setlist. A word of advice though - the setlist will probably not change much if at all, so if you'd rather wait for a surprise, don't check.

I knew the setlist when I saw them on the DD tour and it sucked. I hated knowing exactly what they were going to play. My advice is just go - soak it all in - and come back here afterwards.

On the first NA leg they did, the setlist was usually something like

Baying of the Hounds
When
In My Time of Need
Face of Melinda or The Moor
The Grand Conjuration
Deliverance
Blackwater Park
Demon of the Fall

...or something like that. I can't remember exactly now, cos I saw them back on Halloween.

In San Fransisco, they played

The Baying Of The Hounds
When
In My Time Of Need
Bleak
The Moor
The Grand Conjuration
Deliverance
Blackwater Park
Demon Of The Fall

It wasnt in that order though..

We got these songs (not necessarily in this order):

Ghost Of Perdition
When
White Cluster
Closure
Deliverance
The Grand Conjuration
Under The Weeping Moon
Bleak
Demon Of The Fall

That was it I think. This was in December. I wouldn't bet that they would play Under The Weeping Moon again though.

I hope they play something from morningrise, cause i've never heard them play anything off morningrise live.

My guess is part of the problem with doing those is that bassist had a low b string which he actually used fairly often. I guess they managed advent/to bid you farewell with bass player just doing those notes up an octave though so WHAT DO I KNOW

Nectar or Black Rose Immortal would be pretty hot. Or that one mikael hates, for that matter.

yeah, you left out "when". i was at the san antonio show, btw.

For us (columbus) they played

The Baying of the Hounds
When
In my Time of Need
Bleak
Face of Melinda
Deliverance
Blackwater Park
Demon of the Fall (encore)

Hey, I'll be at the first show of the second North American tour (Feb. 15th in Raleigh, NC). I'll try to post the setlist here and completely ruin any possible surprises.

ps - the surprise is that they play Black Rose Immortal six times in a row, followed by "I Hate Hip Hop". no encore.

The 2nd set list was:

Deliverance
Demon Of The Fall

A Grand Conjuration
