Please join this facebook group. I just got a cease and desist from Wendy Dio and her Lawyer. Please see this facebook group for info and updates!

In a nutshell, we can put out the Tribute cause we are not "profiting" from it, but we need to remove all references to "Dio" "Ronnie James Dio" "Ronnie James" and we can not use the logo or album artwork.

I just put a call into the lawyer and I am waiting on a call back to discuss how we can do this all legally.

So we need a new CD cover that states:
A TRIBUTE TO RJD

Also, out of curiosity... what could they do?

We haven't made any money off it... and I doubt they could take any of us to court as it would take them months to find all the musicians for just one of the songs on there...

Funny, I wouldn't be surprised if Wendy doesn't even know about this. Someone with good English should drop an email to TorrentFreak because that's the sort of copyright trolling they write about all the time (please! anyone?). I mean, can you imagine more heartless thing done to the fans than this? After all we've done to get their approval in the first place?
