I must say, doesnt normally do it for me 100% this type of music, as I grow quickly weary of the lack of melody. However, it was awesomely tight and had a very good live mix! Got to spend a bit of time at the front until i almost spontaneously combusted through lack of drink, and then the sound dudes were happy to let me stand with them :)

Well I saw them live while they were touring with In Flames and let me tell ya... I'm glad they only played 5 songs because I was completely exhausted after those 5 songs. I was the only mother fucker who gave a shit about them being there, I went completely nuts and jumped like a fucking meter in the air continuously. It was a blast... best live show I've been to. The bassist is usually quiet when it comes to image you know... I've not seen / heard much from him through the media and stuff but when I saw him in person on stage, wow... he completely beat the shit out of every bassist I've watched live so far :D He slayed! Completely fucking nuts.

It was only me and a few around me who were in to Gojira it seems, on that concert... the rest of 'em cunty teenagers were there for In Flames and Sonic Syndicate. When Gojira finished, I heard some guy with an INCREDIBLY geeky voice, you know like some little counter strike playing geek, saying that Gojira was the worst band he had ever heard. I wanted to smash his face in... preferably with a hammer (reference to what band...? :)), but figured he wouldn't be worth it. Yes I know it's wrong to hit someone just because they don't like what you like but you have to keep in mind I was pumped full of adrenaline, like a bull that hasn't gotten any pussy for 10 years.

lol, i must agree about the bassist. We had a crowd surfer who got onto the stage first time, and got pushed back in by the band quite hard and you could tell they were all quite pissed about that. Then he came back for seconds and the bassist launched a full on street fighter-esque kick into his ass making him fall into the crowd  Needless to say he didnt come back again :D

Saw them last year with In Flames, and their tone was CRUSHING. They sounded amazing live... crisp and tight and huge!

I've grown weary of In Flames... and they may have just stole the show.
