Fugazi

I only have Repeater and The Argument, which are both good, but all of their discography is supposed to be of a high quality.

what type of music do they play? all I know about them is that they've developed a reputation as a band that tries to flaunt its obscurity. that''s what i've heard, at least.

Also: I seem to remember having "Repeater" aaaages ago and really liking it, so I am downloading their entire discography from Hoppykins.

I say 13 Songs and Repeater.

I thought they were post-punk?

There are many subgenres which are post-punk. Death rock, for example. My point is that calling something "post-punk" doesn't indicate anything specific about it.

I don't know...I get a certain vibe from the term "post-punk." I think Fugazi or early U2 or any band that takes a punk template and stretches it. It's hard to explain.

Post-grunge would be Nickelback or Puddle of Mudd:)Puke: sometimes it's a stretching of the butthole as the corpse is railed posthumously)

Post-rock would be At the Drive In, The Mars Volta, or stuff like that.

I'm probably misusing the terminology, no?
