I found my Sega Saturn today, haven't played it for years. For me videogames produce some of the best and most vivid memories. I remember playing the original Virtua Cop in co-op with my best friend like it was yesterday.

Ive been playing Metroid Prime 3 on my wii, as well as guitar hero 3 (online play is alotto fun).

I used to be really into Warcraft 3 ladder play when one of my online friends still used to play it. We mostly played 2vs2 arranged team games. It was frustrating sometimes though. We were both decent players but also very much casual for-fun type of players, which sadly doesn't seem to be the predominant attitude on Battle.net in general. There's just so many people who will do anything to win by using the lamest tactics and known race/hero imbalances.

I've never liked Warcraft III. Something with the 3D graphics I think, I'm a hardcore 2D fanboy. Age of Empires II and Starcraft are both great games and are really fun multiplayer.

I beat Mass Effect and it is, in my opinion, easily game of the year. That being said, I don't have a Wii so I haven't and probably won't get a chance to play SMG or MP3 anytime soon. However, out of the stuff I have played on both ps3 and 360 it is easily the best either has on offer this year. BioWare are master storytellers, plain and simple, and they have just proven it for the billionth time with ME. Highly recommended.

Game of the year goes to either Uncharted: Drakes Fortune or Unreal Tournament 3

I played it with my dad years ago. He was more into it than I was, but it looked pretty decent.


On the subject of Warcraft III/Starcraft: I was never good at either of those games, though I only played Warcraft III like once. I have Starcraft, but I always just stuck to the "-bound" maps, like Heavenbound and all that. Those types of maps were fun. But as far as the regular strategy part was concerned, I just couldn't do it. I'd always lose.

Play the Use Map Settings maps. Those are crazy.
