Dave posts images of Scott Podsednik and Jason Schmidt.

Scott Podsednik and Jason Schmidt are both on the DL.

Coincedence? I doubt it. I'm not saying that Dave somehow caused their injuries... but it does make you think.

I play 2D fighting games at the tournament level (though I spend more time playing online than in tournaments :/:

Super Street Fighter II Turbo
King of Fighters '98
Capcom vs. SNK 2
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Samurai Shodown 4, 5 Special, Tenkaichi Kenkakuden
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike (I only play it because everyone else does, bad game imo)
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core

all other games can fuck off!

:notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

I am actually a huge fan of fighting(dual) games.Specially the King of fighters series.I have all except the ones for PS2 cuz I fucking can't afford that:mad: .
Kof'98 & 2002 are the best.
And,oh yeah,Metal slug rule too:kickass: .

action adventure >> sports >> FPS >> RPG > adventure
Beyond Good and Evil:kickass:

Adventures are still the best. I remember crying upon finishing Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle for the first time:waah:

The recent Sam &Max games were enjoyable and a nice trip down memory lane, but it's not the same anymore. Too bad Telltale decided to break down the game into episodes. It just doesn't stick with you as much as it could had it been one long title.Come to think of it, even when glued together the game is quite a bit on the short side.

:( I've started to play WoW and I wish I didn't because I can now see my entire life going down the drain. Oh well, fun game. Just wish I'd finally find a class I LIKE to play as, hunter sucks, mage I've been getting killed waay too often for it to be effective, probably'll be lame and make a warrior or paladin or some shit like that as to avoid all the death.

Warriors and pallys have NO range, which gets very irritating. I suggest a druid or a rouge. Rouges can end fights quickly before dying and druids can heal themselves. Also, get professions early on and work at them, you will need the gold. For both classes I recommend herbalism and alchemy. First aid is also a must for every character.

Priests are pretty fun.

Hunters suck until level 10, when they get their pets. The pet can hold the guy off at a distance where you can chew him to shreds with your various shots.

I'd love to play WOW. Too bad there is a certain monthly fee involved. Buy a game and pay for it for as long as you play it? NAh, I'll skip.

Fantasy Flight Games, among various other king-sized board games has been churning out faithful table-top renditions of popular Blizzard titles (Starcraft, WOW) and they are looking pretty great. If you have someone to play with, it sounds a hell lot of fun. Costly fuckers(well, at least here they are) but it's a one-time installment and no big pocket damage compared to the incessant leeching of MMoRPGS.

Monthly fees are absolutely necessary to keeping an MMO alive. With a standard game, once it ships it is finished, nothing added, no new content, no servers to keep up and maintain. An MMO is constantly evolving, getting new material/content added, update patches, server maintenance. This all costs money and no one is going to do it for free. The initial release of an MMO is just the beginning.

Well, actually I know there is a plethora of free low-quality MMOs like Rakion, Maple Story and the like, those that are mostly directed at a younger audience. I know, because my brother is obsessed with them.

Okay. I started playing with my hunter and realized that she doesn't suck as much as I thought she did (infact she is pretty awesome.)

I just was stupid with how I used her, what with the whole "Shoot first then get assaulted by melee damage" strategy instead of sending out my pet to attack and tank for me while I shoot from a distance. Ever since I started playing her properly I've had a blast, hitting things from all different angles while my little crab friend ruins peoples days :p

Haha, also currently my Mana level is maxed out at 666.
