can't see it beating WoW, but, hell, I'm gonna play it!

I predict that the Firefly game is going to suck. Mainly because its premise includes two things that generally have a very high chance of sucking:

1. It's an MMO
2. It's based on a movie/TV-show IP

Even with just one of those it is pretty much guaranteed to be a failure.

The only sequels I can think of that I'd be at all interested in are Baldurs Gate / Fall Out / System Shock. Fuck BioShock.

Bioshock IS System Shock. It just has a slightly different plot, some of the components have been renamed and the graphics are better.

Graphics mean shit. System Shock 1/2 were actually fun and SS2 is the only film/game/book/any media ever to manage to scare me at all. I was bored of Bio Shock after about 30 minutes.

It's a really brilliant IP, though. Also, the IP gives you a lot of wiggle room - not a whole lot of backstory.

It could be a great sci fi mmo, or it could suck. Success hinges on the first part - most MMOs suck.
