Yes that's what I said, "new tv or screen". In your example though the computer was almost twice the price of the console even without the screen, so I wouldn't say it is comparable really. :)
No, it wasn't twice the price. It cost a third more, and I was using the current price of the 360, not the launch price. Anyhow, to build a computer comparable to the 360 would cost about $400 at this point.

Still playing Final Fantasy XII. Addicting, in a Diablo kind of way.
Hell fucking yeah.
Only better
No.

No. You're being stupid. He's correct. You let them play video games so they won't smoke dope (and also because it's a little harsh not to let them play video games).

I can't play games on the computer... idk... maybe if I got a controller to use with it I could. But I hate the stupid controls you use with a keyboard and mouse.
Also, I personally like FPS better on a console, there's something more exhilarating about having to aim and concentrate under stress, rather than just point. click. dead.
The only thing that the computer has is its game selection. Because pretty much every good game will eventually come out for PC.

@WeAreInFlames... I, and most of us, can't just build our own computers, so for something with that power is going to take a lot more money for us.

Indeed, last time I built a computer it definitly costed over $400 and then I didn't even upgrade the graphic card because as I don't play much anyway and as I don't play I didn't bother with the newest processor, etc. I would really like to see WeAreInFlames show what parts he would use to put together a good gaming station for $400. :)

This point is bullshit tbh.
