I actually don't play my Bich that much, but there's no friggin' way I'm ever gonna part with it. It's not as if it's something you come across every day. Neck-through body, 10 strings, totally flame-y wood, crazy electronics, 2 active pickups w/preamps. So many sounds can come out of that thing.

The funny thing is, mine isn't even a 'real' Bich, but rather a perfect knock-off. It has an F instead of an R on the headstock b/c it's really a Fernandez. Rumor has it, it was a custom job for John Christ for when he was in Danzig. Not that I necessarily believe that. Anyhow, Fernandez USA knows nothing about it. And it really is a perfect rip, right down to the Grover tuners and cloud inlays on the fretboard.

i find myself playing my acoustic (early 80s Sigma) more often. Either that, or my 96 Les Paul Special w/p90s. The LP + the Hiwatt totally equals Pete Townshend.

perhaps i should've been burning AVI with the child molestor gibes.

I like my pods fine and dandy. However I feel that the bass pod gets closer to the real thing than the POD 2.0. Of course the presets are set up for your classic bedroom musician (lots o' fuzz and bass) and not for recording, but with a few mods they work fine. I haven't really even had the time to dig deep into it and start setting up my own amp/cab combos. For my low budget project studio, the options these things offer are excellent. I haven't tried to run these things through any amps yet but I heard they don't work to well for that.

i am still in my Strat and Strat-style guitar phase. i would like to mess around with les pauls more often. i loved when i was at guitar center and could mess around with the different guitars and see which ones i liked it will make lookign for a new guitar much easier when i actually decide to get one.

sheeeit, well if we're gonna be total gear nerds, I might as well go all out.

other stuff in my arsenal:
jack-rr-violet.jpg

(mine's a hardtail)

487836.jpg

+ 2x10" cab w/tweeter and 1x18" cab
(on semi-permanent borrow)

PX520J-NB.gif

same finish, but mines a 4-piece

yss_875.gif

but I haven't touched it in ages.

I've also got another pair of altos, but they pretty much suck

Kind of busted at this point, my first 'real' guitar
518183.jpg

but with a fixed bridge and matte black finish
510024.jpg

but with all new hardware, pickups, and electronics, and the body is a tele wood finish.

i love all my guitars but i am especially fond towards my fender mexican strat. it is fucking awesome despite what people used to tell me about mexican strats being shit. i've had it for ten years and it sounds better all the time.
