I don't want to jump on the bandwagon and laugh at you, so I won't. I think the internet is cool because it allows people of all ages, abilities and levels of knowledge to converse and share ideas and opinions. I have to say though, that if you don't know who that is on Dodens avatar, then I'm afraid it's you who "doesn't know shit about metal".

In summary, argue all you like with Dodens (though I suspect it to be a rather fruitless and empty endeavour), but don't take the piss out of Bobby Liebling, who is a true metal institution. In the parlance of your generation, he "PWNS" anyone you choose to listen to.

Why not try out some Pentagram? You might like it. I'd start with Pentaram a.k.a. Relentless first, and work my way through their discography in rough date order.

Why not start with their 70s stuff? "First Daze Here" is a perfect introduction and shows the variety of Liebling (and the other members') songwriting better than the full lengths.

It's interesting to see how they evolved and took on a more "metal" sound in the 80s, and I wish I'd heard their earlier stuff before "Relentless" and "Day of Reckoning." I still haven't heard anything newer than that... got a Sub-Basement LP lying around that I actually might wanna trade if anyone's interested -- just doesn't sound like it's on the same level. What can you expect from a guy Liebling's age?
