Get rid of drums in overhead mics

As the title says, is there a way to get rid of drums in overhead mics? Something like remove some frequencies?

I cut allmost everything under 500-700hz depending on the bleed. Worked for me so far. Maybe there is a better solution because this !can! really thin out your cymbals.
