Hi guys

I'm looking for a new mfx unit, specifically one that can give me some truly brutal tones.

My band play a hybrid of many of the Doom/Death/Dark greats. I'm looking for a kind of Daylight Dies/Katatonia/Paradise Lost lead with the immense rhythm of bands like Swallow the Sun and November's Doom. No pussy doom here. :p

I've managed to get some great sounds from my X3 but having owed two, and having had both suffer from faults, I'm a tad reluctant to get another.

Is the gt-10 any good? Is there any other mfx units I should be looking at? Price is a concern, I'm returning my X3 so the £300-£400 range is about my limit.

Thanks :headbang:

Sansamp? Bass? Eh?

I'm confused - it's easily done!

EDIT: Ah! The Internet, or rather google, explains all. I couldn't really see a hardware based mfx more software stuff. I'm looking for something I can plug into and rely on not to crash for live work.

Someone recommended the zoom g9.2tt to me in the pub last night. Anyone used one the get the sort of tones I'm after?
