Said you have to live before you die young" to me really sounds more like "They open to the rumoursyou have to live before you die young" its hard to tell

"as if you have to live before you die young" ...but also Im in doubt...It could be "They said you have to live before you die young". Aside from that line, "They open..." ...I dont get any "they".

I think Opeth are trying to reach a bigger audience.... The only time they've ever had this much clean vocalising in a heavy song..... well they never have, mua haa...
