Just wondering if you ever thought of having them play or attempted getting them? Have they even play US since 85 or 86? Anybody's help would be appreciated. Never realized how good they are!

I think the Only US tour they did was with VoiVod and Frost.

And they bailed after a few shows because they weren't well received by the thrash crowd of Voivod and Celtic Frost. I liked both bands but bought my tix for that tour because of RW. I was really pissed not having them in my city...

Am I wrong in thinking that Running Wild opened for Motley Crue during a tour of the states back in the 80s? If so, very weird combination!

I really don't think so. As previously mentioned, they did a couple weeks in 1985 or 1986, opening for Celtic Frost and Voivod and that's it for them touring North America.

The problem with bands like this is that it's a total crapshoot. Older guys who have families and expectations about performing and need high demands to be met, but if nobody comes, then it's not worth investing money into. The risk is far too high for failure and losing a ton of money to take a chance and hope it does well like Accept did.

They did some shows with them on the Theatre of Pain tour here in the States. Too bad their booking agent has no communication skills. I think they would be a great band to see in Atlanta and would go over well.

Thats what they need is to tour with Accept,Helloween,Gamma Ray,Saxon, etc in some kind of package tour unless Glenn would give them a chance!!!
