elements is straight trash

Elements still has great melodies anyways. The leads in Mineral are on par with the very best Maiden and Priest leads. Shitty production aside, it's an excellent album all around.

9) His Majesty at the Swamp by Varathron
The memories shift fast into the labyrinth of your mind..

"It took me several listens to appreciate Varathron. I couldn't even keep myself awake at first while listening to His Majesty at the Swamp, but this stuff is really potent and sweeps you off your feet eventually. " - DarkBliss

"Varathron- His Majesty At The Swamp

Teh most metal "black metal" album of all time. Fucking riffage is nuts." - @Dazed and Brutal

"Honestly, I think I worship Kawir's "Isotheos" more than any other greek black metal album, but nothing touches His Majesty as far as classic Greek BM goes. "- @Master_Yoda77

"Individual thought patterns is the first death album that I purchased and easily my favorite. Leprosy, Symbolic, and Human are also great and those are probably in order." - @theflyingmachine

Nails driven through my dreams...

"morbid angel have 3 timeless albums

altars of madness, blessed are the sick, covenant" - @EchoForever

"Covenant is a fantastic album. My opinion sways back of forth between that and Blessed Are The Sick for being Morbid Angel's 2nd best album."- @Master_Yoda77

"Covenant is a weird one, I really like half of the tracks but the rest don't do a lot for me. "Rapture", "Pain Divine", "World of Shit", "Angel of Disease" and "God of Emptiness" are all pretty great I think.

I saw them play Covenant in its entirety for the 20th anniversary of it a few years ago."- @Phylactery

elements is straight trash

Not as good as their first two albums. But there's still a lot to enjoy on Elements. From what I've heard the band only released the album due to contractual obligations, and so, perhaps, it ended up with a bit of a rushed, ad-hoc, feel to it.

Yeah UP is their greatest offering. Kudos to the band for putting out such an amazing album so quickly after the death of Roger Patterson.

I've been playing bass for something like 13 years, and there are some bass lines on that album that I still can't get my head around.

That last quote is savage. All 4 of those albums had quite a lot of votes in this thread so thought I would include it.
Do you use quotes that trash albums for stuff that the in-crowders enjoy too or do you just save them for the Death albums(literally every Death album that has made these lists)? We really need to have some other people outside of the usual suspects hosting these games.

How would he recover if he ever gave any hint of dissent against the in crowd NPCs?

hey i always put negative comments in if i could find a vaguely eloquent or funny one
show me a negative quote you've used for say one of the Chasm albums.

what a coincidence that there are negative comments for both Elements and Death but not for Varathron. All one has to do is take a look at the list of names that voted for those albums to figure it out. Pretty fucking pathetic if you ask me.
