Obviously make sure to hit up RYM yourself and search your favourite genres.

The deadline is 1st of February 2019.

The rules:
- submit at least 5 releases.
- first place in your rankings gets 10 points, 2nd gets 9, etcetc, 10th gets 1.
- feel free to post more than 10, but only the top 10 will get points.
- feel free to post less than 10, the same scoring will apply.
- feel free not to rank your picks, in which case all ten picks will get 5.5 points.

GNMD = General Non-Metal Discussion, so NO UNAMBIGUOUSLY METAL ALBUMS are to be included in anybody's list.

Regarding The electric eels (lower case is intentional); seriously raw and crazy proto-punk/free jazz band that existed in Ohio between like 1972-1975. They only played a handful of gigs in their time and apparently every single one was violent or a complete disaster, and one or two of them resulted in cops showing up. Infamously the band got banned from one of the few clubs that hadn't already blacklisted them because they brought a gas powered lawnmower on stage.

The album I listed is an archival LP and the material was all recorded in 1975. These retards got me through some tough times back in the day, and were a huge inspiration for my own shitty musical projects over the years. I worshiped my CD copy of The Eyeball of Hell compilation, no fucking idea where it is anymore though. Oops.

Its labeled as Hardcore Punk/New York Hardcore. I know its a major staple to METALcore but its first and foremost a hardcore punk album.

Though if that's discredited still, I'll find something to replace it.

its a staple crossover thrash metal album, and even has crossover thrash as a primary on RYM

So apparently RYM has Laibach - Nova Akropola as an '89 release, but it's really from '86, which is a pretty egregious - not to mention annoying - mistake. Despite having it for the wrong year they have a few alternate versions dating to 1986, like this one. I guess they went back in time to re-release their album or something.
