GNMD Poll: Top Ten Albums of 1996

Pleased to see that both Garmarna and The 3rd and the Mortal made the top 10, even though this was probably only possible because the votes of those who participated were quite divergent. I wonder if the two who liked Garmarna's album, but didn't participate in this round would have included it their list, if they had participated.

Just in case anyone who likes "Guds spelemän" might care, one of my favourite Norwegian bands, Bergtatt, have also done a version of "Varulven" (possibly my favourite song on "Guds spelemän"). There is no studio version (yet), but they have played it at some of their concerts and there is a decent recording of it in the following clip, just go to the 25:36-mark:
