any other fans of this band?
on cd they are really good .. but I saw them live last weekend and WOW they are amazing! so much energy! such a massive wall of sound! and what a good drummer!
any thoughts?

for people who don't know them: they are a mix between different music of course, but if I had to classify them I'd say death metal with a progressive touch (although the word progressive can mean so many things of course).
oh well, just check them out ... (they are a french band btw)

Well, I've heard their last album... The first song (Ocean Planet I think) is kickass but the album is overall pretty monotonous... In such a style Meshuggah is still unbeatable, I'd claasify Gojira as (only) interesting... Hower it is likely that a live show could change my mind

I love their hypnotic rhythms and grooves.

Gojira is my favorite band!

They are unique.Definitely a great mix between violence and emotions.They are also a kick ass band live.Saw them 2 weeks ago in Paris,go see them if you can.
Their last album is the best to my opinion.But the first two are great too.Check out their live dvd,just awesome

I love 'From Mars To Sirius'.

Heard a live version of the track 'Rememberance' from 'The Link', and loved it, however when I heard it on the album .. Why did they put that annoying boing box (or twang box) instrument over the end section?!

Totally ruined it for me.
