Well..... while I am not big into extreme vocals, I typically like heavier stuff. Thrash metal, oldschool and heavier prog-metal are my faves. I like a bad here and there that is rock, but not as far as sustained through a career like The Goos. I get chills listening to Rzeznik belting out songs. Anyone else dig The Goos ?

Maybe I've been listening to the wrong Goo Goo dolls, but definitely sick of them atm.

Indeed. Bland commercial rock-by-numbers. There's so much better music out there. Hell, there's so much better bland commercial rock out there.

They wrote some good songs that hit the target market. Much better than alot of the other crap out on the radio. Always got a kick out of the hair cuts, "I want my hair poking me in the eyes all day"

They've got some good songs, but their more commercial stuff is terrible, black balloon, slide, better days..? I don't want to hear crap like that.

Superstar Carwash was easily their best album, consistent right the way through. Good pop rock with a hint of something harder but not cloying like later Goos work.
