Life Sucks

Slower paced black metal (Burzum, Graveland, Drudkh, etc.) does not require double bass. Neither does doomdeath or some slower paced death metal.

Iron Maiden have never used double bass drums/pedals, except on one recent track, Dance of Death's 'Face in the Sand'.I was about to say... if they don't use double bass, their drummer must be inhuman to do those "galloping" triple kicks.
I get what you're saying, but Drudkh and Burzum have extensive double bass.Slower paced black metal (Burzum, Graveland, Drudkh, etc.) does not require double bass. Neither does doomdeath or some slower paced death metal.

If you listen more closely, there are in fact no "galloping triple kicks" in their tracks. The heel-toe technique is employed quite liberally by McBrain, which generates a fast double stroke, and this can sound like three beats due to the often galloping bass playing of Steve Harris, but only one foot is used.

Yes, she did, she went back and edited her post, numbnuts. Panzerfaust666's reply "yea, be more specific" was agreeing with her telling me to be more specific. Not that it matters anyway.
