So I've been reflecting on my life a lot lately, and usually, for me, at least, reflection means consuming large quantities of alcohol. But usually when I drink I listen to decisively non-metal albums and/or songs, such as the Dropkick Murphy's, Flogging Molly, Billy Joel, and Weezer's first two albums(If any of these detract from my "metalness," so be it). But I never really listen to any metal. Most of the time when I listen to metal it either puts me in the mood to either thrash around and get hyper as fuck, or kill myself. So I was wondering what metal bands you guys like to listen to when you're getting shitfaced.

Prefer to drink to live metal but

Dark Order - 5000 Years of Violence
Infernal Method
Bloodduster - All
Death - All
Manticore - All
Blathuda
Pungent Stench - All
AC/DC  All up to and including Back in Black

At the Gates-Cold
Morbid Angel-God of emptiness
Edge of Sanity-Crimson(for that means you drink for 40 minutes hehe)

Iron Maiden - Anything from the S/T to Powerslave
Dimmu Borgir - Enthrone Darkness Triumphant
Metallica - First 5 albums
Megadeth - Countdown...
Slayer - Reign in Blood, Seasons...

Metallica-Kill 'em All
any Motorhead
Venom-Black Metal
Bathory-Bathory, Blood Fire Death, The Return...
Celtic Frost-Mega Therion, Morbid Tales
Sepultra-Schizophrenia
Dark Angel-Darkness Descends
Exodus-Bonded by Blood
Morbid Angel-Atars of Madness, Abominations of Desolation
Cathedral-The Ethereal Mirror, Carnival Bizarre
Hellhammer-APocalyptic Raids
Black Sabbath-Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Mob Rules, Vol 4, Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell
Judas Priest-Stained Class, Screaming for Vengeance

If I'm in a mood to get trashed, I definately opt for the older stuff like Exodus, Pantera, Venom, Judas Priest, King Diamond, Megadeth, Sepultura, Faith No More, Overkill, Slayer, SOD, Type O Negative, Iron Maiden, Danzig, Metal Church, Led Zeppelin, Queensryche, Anthrax, AC/DC, Bathory...

Do I really have to go on?

There is only one band that you can have a drink with:

AC/DC

A must have on every bar jukebox!!!

I prefer vikingmetal, since it makes me feel like eating and drinking, you know, but overall nearly any album which I know very good.. A few bands I really enjoy getting wasted to:

Pantera
Guns 'N Roses
White Zombie (era La "Sexorcisto")

- but also any black and deathmetalbands I favour...
