Always Somewhere!
So after over 20 years I've finally found the great way to display my guitar picks. I used to keep them in my photo albums, then moved them out and into a glass jar...I wanted to display them and finally figured it out!

Grab a curtain tension spring rod, position it between two walls or in between two areas, add your guitar pick holders, put picks in and wa-laa

Only one from Joe Satriani from a concert at the Reno Hilton Convention center, it was a seated venue with tables on the front row. Satch thrown one and just fall in front of me

well Rolando, you gotta start somewhere! :p

You know what Kristy? I do envy you, you had the "luck" of being able in a place where gigs were good and plenty, I have seen all your memorabilia in different post you have done and I think to myself, that should have been me )maybe in another life). So everyday be thankful for your metal guardian angel :Saint:

no doubt!! I do, I am thankful. Being in CA has it's expenses and up and down like anywhere else but we certainly cannot complain about lack of live music. It also helps being of the age in the 80's to go to shows and see those classic rockers, get the merch and swag. I've lost a lot over the years but now make sure there is a place for everything and everything is in it's place.

I have one of Nicko's as well. Got it in Detroit, BNW tour. I actually caught 2, but I gave the other one to the friend I was visiting. I saw them 3 times in 12 days on that tour...

I also have a pair of Jason Rullo's sticks, from Symphony X. I got them at a drum clinic he did about 6 years ago.

I have a few picks, but not all were from shows. Got:

Yngwie - my friend had an extra :goggly:
Akira Takasaki - came with the Dragon cd, I think.:Smug:
George Lynch - I talked some girl into giving it to me:dopey:
Rick Nielsen - got this one at Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals in '04 (Tampa). Cheap Trick did about a 45 minute set outside before the game. :Smokin:
Hades - I caught this one too.

That's a cool idea! :) Now, what to do with my signed drumsticks?

okay I got it... go to the crafts store and buy some of that foam stuff you stick fake flowers in... paint it up all metal like and stick in your drum sticks. although I think if we tried spray painting it, it would melt...but an idea none the less.

That is too cool Kristy Kat !! I like looking at other people's collections of stuff, but I don't even have all of my Vanden Plas stuff out displayed. I have some metal stuff displayed.... don't get me wrong, but I simply have little interest in collecting stuff. I did have an Yngwie pick that I drilled a hole through and put on a necklace years ago and I wore it pretty religiously.
I don't know.... one of my more prized possessions actually came from you. I have very little Accept memorabilia simply because I never saw them live. When I am 80 years old (if I live that long) I will still think of you because that Accept armband is on top of my bedroom beareugh (I will not even try to spell that.) You rock my girl !!

Yeah, foam is kind of a tricky bastard, especially with spray paint. I do wonder, would it melt if you were using paint applied with a paint brush?
