What about the memory of Thule Knight? It's kind of funny that he died cause when I didn't get an email back I joked with a friend that maybe he died. It's sad that he actually did die, though.

Well, the funeral was as good as it could have been, all things considered.

It was held on a private residence on an estate....a very large and lavish one. Richard was buried in a beautiful spot in the forest, right next to where his sister was married last year. He loved the area. The ceremony was as close to a pagan ceremony as a non-pagan can do. It was beautiful, I was very happy to know that his family respected his beliefs enough to do what HE wanted! He was buried in his Viking helmet along with his shield and sword. And many other provisions he needs on his journey to Valhalla. Atop his grave will be 2 stone wolves, the wolves of Odin.

After the ceremonies (we had to have a 2nd one for all the latecomer friends), we retired to the "barn" for cocktails and hors d'heuvres. Well, a bit more than that, it was full bar and cheese steaks, pizza and hors d'heuvres. The "barn" was a recently renovated 18th century revolutionary war barn converted into a sort of bar/hall for parties of the elite sort. There were several old stage coaches, and it was just a beautiful setting. We drank some mead in Richards honour, and got to know his family, who are TRULY wonderful people, and will definitely see them again. I just wish we didn't meet all these fucking people on such terms.

We learned some new facts about the death...
He checked himself into a hospital friday before he died for heart problems, and was found with a heart monitor on his body. His family had heart history, and he was unaware.

He was found without his housekeys or wallet. He did NOT leave home without his "Bad Mother Fucker" wallet. haha

There were also some other suspicious things found on him.

Supposedly the toxicology reports will be presented to the family in 6 weeks. We will know more then. I think none of us will ever know the truth.
