It was held on a private residence on an estate....a very large and lavish one. Richard was buried in a beautiful spot in the forest, right next to where his sister was married last year. He loved the area. The ceremony was as close to a pagan ceremony as a non-pagan can do. It was beautiful, I was very happy to know that his family respected his beliefs enough to do what HE wanted! He was buried in his Viking helmet along with his shield and sword. And many other provisions he needs on his journey to Valhalla. Atop his grave will be 2 stone wolves, the wolves of Odin.
