Graveland pwned in MetalCrypt Editorial, J. Cries

then just come out and say you're a hypocrite. dont hide behind false justifications.

but dont worry, im sure the drudkh guys arent spending those dimes on buying a warhead set for israel

Isn't the NS ideaology (at least in the way that BM artists use it) also anti Christian? It's not just a Jewish thing but it seems to be angry at Judeo-Christianity in general. When people sing about their ancestral pagan origins, they tend to be a little more angry at the Christian invasion than anything else. (I'm thinking of Graveland in this instance).

Sooner or later, everything will become a target. Why discrimate when you can offend everyone?! :loco:

if you read darken's rants in the sleeves, this is the feeling i get.

but then you have Temnozor stating that"every subhuman that buys this, is buying a weapon against himself" or whatever.

oh man, you can just read it in his song titles. "Blood of Christians on my Sword" etc.

:lol: awesome. Thing is, would Christians qualify in that "subhuman" category? I think they probably would.

NS = anti-Jew
BM = anti-Christian

(for the most part)

Put the two together and voila! You've got yourself a radical Islamist!! :kickass: :loco:

Are there any radical Islamist BM bands?

Probably very deep underground, in the caverns of North Afghanistan. Where the Legions Noire once recorded in an old castle, these guys record in a cave and then...blow themselves up!

There's this Afghani cave hash that is supposed to be the greatest thing ever. It's a special kind of hash that is produced by rubbing your hands together with the appropriate organic matter, but then they mix it with unrefined poppy tar and let it sit in clay jars in dark caves for years at a time. I don't need to explain what the final product might be like...

so that's basically opium laced hash? sheeyat.

exactly. plus, if you allow any THC product to cure (obviously in this case we're talking about sealed jars), it becomes more potent and easy to absorb. so this stuff has got to be ridiculous. If you ever get a bag of pot that is too moist, it sure sucks but you can let it sit in a mason jar and take it out for a few hours every day until the moisture goes away. It will get you about 3x higher than if you smoked the moist herb.

Well, there's a fun fact for you.

just some thoughts on so-called NSBM, paganism, anti-christian, et cetera:

when people feel their identity is treathened they will rebel and show their identity with more determination. this is true for groups of immigrants in their new country (the Dutch in the USA in the 1950s, the black power movement in the 1960s, muslims in western countries today, but also atheists in Poland (strongly Catholic), pagans in Norway et cetera). this also works on the level of small groups like families, collegues. I only have to think of when I rejected my chirstian upbringing (which tried to keep me small as I perceived it). So, to me, this could explain the rebellion of some people in black metal.

the question is really, as already stated above, where do you draw the line. some people already get nervous when someone says he is proud of a culture he feels he belongs to (the ancestors, the vikings). other people don't mind listening to or buying Graveland music even if there are some words about white pride in there. I'm of the latter opinion, even though I don't hold any NS political views myself. I guess I don't feel treathened then ;)

I just find the idea laughable that something that you can enjoy without any knowledge of the political ideology of the band can be so completely changed by learning said information, as if it alters something in the music itself. I prefer to judge music based on its own merits, not on emotional attachments or certain quirks of my own (or for that matter, of the artist, as long as it doesn't necessarily impact the music).

I just listen to it and put my own spin on it. Main reason I never read too much into a bad, I don't care. Music: good. Live: Good for some bands. Otherwise. Fuck it. :kickass:

I know I laughed pretty damned hard when I read that people used to think echos were actually dwarves repeating what was said, just to fuck with people.

I have images of canyons full of Dwarves that look just like MFJ. Some drunk on mead and ale. Others stoned as fuck off plundered Afghani cave-hash. Laughing as they fuck with peoples heads. Then some deranged viking slaughters some of them.

I like it.

Final point of the this thread: Don't listen to NS music if you're in any way against it, and don't fucking bother people who do like it.
