Am I the only person that feels Graveland simply releases the same album, year after year? I'm having trouble telling them apart, new one included.

The new one is good and all, but I already can't remember what it sounds like. Except that I already know, because they all sound that way (I would have gone back even further, to Raise Your Swords perhaps). I don't know, I feel almost guilty for not loving it.

he's been treading the same amazing territory since Raise Your Sword. still no duplicates. Graveland =Bolt Thrower=timeless

I'm not hearing it, at least not yet. But Graveland has earned themselves a lifetime pass, at least in so much that I'll listen to it enough to find out.
Funny you mention Bolt Thrower as the comparison, since I've been listening to that lately as well and think that album is the tits! I also don't think BT is as "samey" from album-to-album. Yeah, it's all cut from the same cloth, but it's more varied than say...uh, Graveland.

Style-wise, yes, but the speed changes a bit, as have the vocals (since they've had multiple). Or perhaps the new one sounds different to me since Karl Willets is back after 10 years.

"Due to Richard Mills of Vinland Winds, untimely passing, Rob Darken has now given full authority for Forever Plagued Records to release the Drunemeton CD/LP. We are hoping to have this out sometime early 2007."
