Graveland

The new one is good and all, but I already can't remember what it sounds like. Except that I already know, because they all sound that way (I would have gone back even further, to Raise Your Swords perhaps). I don't know, I feel almost guilty for not loving it.

Not sure if it's worth a purchase or not.

he's been treading the same amazing territory since Raise Your Sword. still no duplicates. Graveland =Bolt Thrower=timeless

but actually, this new is a bit different

I'm not hearing it, at least not yet. But Graveland has earned themselves a lifetime pass, at least in so much that I'll listen to it enough to find out.

Funny you mention Bolt Thrower as the comparison, since I've been listening to that lately as well and think that album is the tits! I also don't think BT is as "samey" from album-to-album. Yeah, it's all cut from the same cloth, but it's more varied than say...uh, Graveland. :D

Well uh, Bolt Thrower, I'm pretty sure you could take any given song off any album except the first one and stick it on any other and noone would raise an eyebrow

Style-wise, yes, but the speed changes a bit, as have the vocals (since they've had multiple). Or perhaps the new one sounds different to me since Karl Willets is back after 10 years.

Thanks,

Or search for Following the Voice of Blood on vinyl, it includes Impaler's Wolves EP as bonus.

From Forever Plagued Records:

"Due to Richard Mills of Vinland Winds, untimely passing, Rob Darken has now given full authority for Forever Plagued Records to release the Drunemeton CD/LP. We are hoping to have this out sometime early 2007."

New album this year and re-release of the famous demo a few months later. 2007 already starting off like :kickass:
