I'd probably take Breaking the Law over The Ripper tbh. Invader might be a toss-up too; I used to love that song, but it's slightly cornier and weaker than most of Stained Class. It's something like a top ~50-70 song for me I guess, but from a band like Priest that still means it's awesome.

Wait, SWOD is like 9 tracks anyways right, where are you getting 13 from?

And I don't know about the two S&M songs on Screaming for Vengeance beating British Steel. SFV is basically a perfect pop-metal album, but Breaking the Law is a perfect pop-metal song as well.

Can't believe you're arguing over such an uneventful track like "Breaking the Law". It's not bad, but it being a top 20 Priest track seems ridiculous to me.

Also why isn't "Blood Red Skies" in this discussion since a few of you rated it 10/10 in the mixtape it was in and said it was on of Priest's best.

Yeah, totally the word that comes to mind when thinking of the song that broke them into the mainstream and remains a heavy metal anthem to this day.

It's uneventful as in not much is happening in it. It lacks the dynamics of what I consider to be better Priest songs, but obviously since it's short that's bound to the be the case. Would you prefer I used average instead? I don't give a shit if it broke them into the mainstream, that's not what I'm basing my opinion of the song on. I've never considered it a highlight in their discography.
