I love the jade colour on the inlays, the arrows on the guitar could be more light green also. It's just a hue trick on the Pinky. I don't like the yellowish green on the new Alexi guitar, and the way the inlays are silver, but I guess it's supposed to be the stereotypic poison colour.
the most intriguing thing about the more expensove Alexi sigs(1k and up) is that their cutaway is worth something. in the pic of the blacky i se the cutaway is like almost equal t the 24th fret....while on the cheaper models(the 200's) it comes only as far as the 21st fret....makes a whooole lot of difference when teaching urself the last solo of KTS...
WRONG WRONG !, has nothing to do about money or how cheap or expansive an guitar is or between ESP and LTD/Edwards. Alexi's First ESP's ( Arrowhead,Scythe, Sawtooth,) Had the cutaway to the 21 fret to...
even trough that plays just perfect, Alexi may have asked for an even deeper cutaway.
From that same interview from around 2006 I remember Alexi and Roope talking about the pearl colour inlays getting green with use for some weird reason as the fingers make contact a lot. Maybe that's what they're looking for, as the inlays aren't green. Well, kind of the opposite with a maple board and black inlays: the maple frets get black from the colour in the inlays sliding to them...
EDIT: I see the pearl inlays on the Greenie have a green tilt...
