i'm not a fan but some bands can be cool.

I was just lookin at a few bands..Only listened to Terrorizer..They seem okay.The whole genre reminds me of Cannibal Corpse.Is Cannibal Corpse classified as that stuff?

grindcore, metalcore ecc ecc.... every core is a degradated level of Death Metal and any type of metal... the only hardcore exeption for me are KoRn.... they are good and still stuck to their feelings without being influenced by commercialism....

Korn's music being mallcore, they are close to harcore... close as in death metal is close to thrash metal...
also, Cannibal Corpse are brutal death metal, not grindcore. but true that its sometimes hard to differenciate these genres.

Alright, I'm going to have to ask you to point out what makes Korn similar to hardcore. I could be wrong, but I don't see it.

grindcore is just boring ... bands with the lamest names ever, a cd with 50 songs with an average of 30 seconds, lyrics with such intelligennce and concept such as poop, puke, dead women, being drunk ... most of what I have heard sounds like a bunch of losers picking up an instruments, come up with the dumbest lyrics ever and play anything but something that sounds like music.
One of the few grindcore bands I have respect for are bands like Brutal Truth, Napalm Death, Jungle Rot, Leng'tche and some others although the latter do not really fit the actual grindcore sound or image.

Grindcore is OK. I can't listen to too much of it though but it's good for a quick laugh. And I do legitimately like a few bands. Namely, "Fuck I'm Dead" and "Daughters". Not only are most of their songs relatively long for a GC song, but they actually are skilled musicians. The only thing I wonder is if they could sustain their playing of the song if it was lengthened even more. In other words, no stamina. They are just sprinters. But "Fuck I'm Dead" sprints less than most and there's actually some non-abrasive harmony work sometimes.
