"Growing out" of metal.

Creed were pretty damn good if you ignore the hit singles they had.

No need to ignore most of their hits as they are great as well, but yes, some of their album tracks are fucking awesome. Tremonti is an amazing rock guitarist, and his work with Alter Bridge is even better.

I'm thinking of songs like "With Arms Wide Open" and "Higher" and "Don't Stop Dancing". "My Sacrifice" is OK though. "Bullets" is awesome.

Haven't heard Alter Bridge yet.

Bullets IS awesome.

I like My Sacrifice and With Arms Wide Open. Higher is overplayed radio fluff but not bad, and I am with you on Don't Stop Dancing. The singles from their first album were good though.

I don't think I'll ever 'grow out of' metal, but I listen to different stuff now than what I did 6-7 years ago. Probably the boredom factor as Koichi said.

the only thing i seem to be growing out of is my clothes hahha
