Hello to orphaned land members and everyone here! :headbang:
I bet trhis has been asked here before, but what instruments do you guys play, I mean Yosi and Matti, what pedals, amps, picks and the likes.

My gear changes from time to time, and in it's full set includes various oriental guitars (Egyptian Oud, short Saz, Long Saz, Buzuki etc). My main electric guitar is an Ibanez 540s with a Dimarzio PAF Pro and a Seymour Duncan little 59' on the neck. I also utilize a 7 string RG model. My classic guitar is a Yamaha CG-150CCE, a tanglewood acoustic and some more.
When playing live, I am open to either Peavy 5150 II or Mesa Dual Ractifier solo head (fully stacked) or Marshall JCM 900 - each gives a very different result but they are all valid choices.
When a good pre / amp is not around, my live pedals include Line6 Stomp boxes (Distortion and Delay) and a Carl-Martin compressor. I also use an AKG wireless. I use Dunlop III XL Series picks.
I think that's about it, in general, not sure how much you want to get into the small details. :)

I play a Fender Stratocaster set-neck for the moment, with a Duncan Distortion TB-6 humbucker on the bridge, and the two original pickups that came with the guitar, I think they are Dimarzio cause the original humbucker was a Dimarzio. I also use the Line 6 DM4 distortion modeler, but plan on getting a nice Mesa Engeneering or a Peavey 5150 stack. For solos I use the Boss DD3 delay pedal, and the picks I use are Jim Dulnop jazz 3, but the small ones.

Which amp did you use when you recorded Mabool?

It sounds like the Marshall to me, but I'm not sure.

About the amp we use in the recordings, you are half right. We use a Marshall cabinet 4X12 and for head we use a mesa boogie 50/50. For pre-amp we use a Marshall jmp1, and this is probably why you recognized the Marshall sound.

Yes, that is probably why. Thanks for explaining it!
