Thanks for all the kind words.
As far as settings, the Maxon was Gain 9 o'clock, Tone 11 o'clock and Level 12 o'clock. 6505+ was somewhere around Pre-gain 2.5, Treble 6, Mid 2.5, Bass 6, Post 3.5, Resonance 7, Presence 8, lead channel--or something like that. I always end up somewhere near there with that amp, unless I'm only recording 2 tracks and can go with more gain. Recto I can't remember--bass was around noon, mid around 10:30, and gain around 11 o'clock or so. I can't remember where presence and treble ended up, but they would have been somewhere below noon. This is an old 2-channel Recto, Red channel, silicon diode, bold. Hope this helps.
Beechstudio--wassup dude? No, no D4 samples on this. That was mostly acoustic snare, with a sample I made blended underneath.
