Would I be cultivated enough if I said it was Marechal Henri Petain? I could be wrong but it looks like him. :confused: "Le sauveur de Verdun, rallumons la flamme de Vichy pour une France aux Français".

Well for a lesson in history, hehe I did extensive studies on WW1 and Verdun, as I was there mourning the fallen ones this August,a very sad place indeed that brought tears to my eyes and that only one with love for the Fatherland would undersatnd the value of blood shed on these battlefields. I will try post a picture later. For your info his full name was Marechal(General) Henri-Philippe Pétain. I've never really seen his face without his commander's hat, that's why I was hesitant.
