here it happens exactly the same the few times it starts snowing, closed schools, snowy roads, no way to go out etc etc....totally unprepared and everything just stops, 'cause it shouldn't snow at this latitude

OMG! You remind me, Nightshade, If we get a huge snow here, which I know we will, I need to get a snow shovel. I've left mine behind in Maryland! EEK! I hate snow shoveling with every fiber in my being! That's why, yeah it's pretty, but the novelty wears off real fast!

Now, it's been doing nothing but raining here. I forgot why but the entire area will stay in the same weather pattern for awhile. It did warm up from what it was the last time I posted in this thread. It's like a heat wave of 50 degrees. LOL!

Yes, that's right, it's warming up. That means instead of a sheet of compact snow and ice, my street is now 12" deep in frozen snot slushie. *sigh* I still just want some rain. Not a flood, just a nice solid day of 40 degree rain.
