Having a platonic female/male friend

I had some platonic friends for a while but chatting in a dark room at night somehow all of them turned to have some intentions to fuck me.. Why?

eh.. and whats the difference between a platonic one and a soulmate in practice? its all about that you dont want to shag and finally u do, innit?

Damn right, probably :)

I do think with any man/woman relationship, the sex thing has to cross your mind, at least once..perhaps more :) but then once you have both gotten past that you can have a platonic..i think, as in every relationship, it's honesty and trust :)

it crosses your mind, yes, but you don't shag every girl you meet ffs. so yes, it can deffo be platonic. everyone here has at least some mates from the other sex that he/she doesn't shag right? so there you have it.

I thought Platonic love means that you're in love with someone but you don't shag him (okay, or her). Not even finally.

As my late beloved colleague said: "You gotta get over the seedcake". And she was right, meaning seedcake=Platonic love.

Of course, I know a lot of boys, but I'd like to shag only one, the one I'm in love with. And if I don't go out with him, that means that's Platonic. For me.

I don't call my other male friends "Platonic" ones at all. Oh, no way!

I agree cos I have many female mates like. Though I'm not sure how I'd react if any of them demanded a portion :)
Theres them safe situations though, like your mates girlfriend (for me anyway like) or ones where something has happened but you're past that bit now.
Anyway, Glasgow derby tomorrow on telly so its heavy metal bedtime..

The story of my marriage. We've gotten past all that and now it is just platonic. I married him knowing I could trust him, he's so apathetic  there is nothing to not trust or be dishonest about. Trust is grreeaaatt!
*sigh* :erk:
