Having a platonic female/male friend

I am pretty sure. I agree men and women can be friends, but as Strangelight said, it must involve some safety aspect (either someone else's man/woman, though that might not be safe enough , or you're just not turned on by the person in any way).

Theres them safe situations though, like your mates girlfriend (for me anyway like) or ones where something has happened but you're past that bit now.

in most cases it's about trust and frienship that you can find in relationships that count out sex.

I see a lot (especially abroad) of lads 'pretending' to be a girls 'platonic friend'. The fact is that hes not really 'friends' with her at all, hes just desperate to empty his spuds right up her miff, and once he does, he'll sit there with his wet stinky nob pulsing and growing shorter thinking 'shit, Ive got to keep the friends bollocks going at least until i get out of the door'.

Girls generally feel its 'cool' to say they've got a platonic male friend, but if they were truly aware of the reality of it all, they wouldnt. After all whats so cool about admitting that youve someone there whos every interaction with you is a carefully planned lie.

But alas, weak lads who arent able to admit they have a penis that they want to shoot muck out of will continue to pretend to be geniune friends with girls, who in turn will continue to tell people in pubs that they have 'lots of platonic male friends'

Yes but the difference being that once I decided I wanted to give Susie a portion I admitted it to her and gave her one rather than beginning a cycle of what I was just talking about. Exactly. There's nothing cool about it. I've had one or two friends who turned out to want to be men and not friends. I'm not saying it's wrong or something, it's just that they do not care about me only because they feel it's nice to care about someone. Everyone works for their interest. But I don't think it's had anything to do with this platonic thing, at least not on my behalf.

Though maybe I wouldn't call it a "lie".
